Lisa La Russo
Chairperson

​Lisa La Russo has been providing emergency health care, as a paramedic, to citizens since 1990. Along with being an EMS instructor & Paramedic preceptor, Lisa has written and implemented several training programs. She has past experience in not only for caring for children and adults in the communities in which she serves, but also has experience in changing health care related protocol and enacting positive change to the health and betterment of all that she serves. Lisa is also the author of our book "Toby the Dolphin and Water Safety".
Kara Harris has been in EMS for 2 years as an EMT. She also volunteers as a coach for Special Olympics. Kara's family was personally affected by a near drowning incident which has contributed greatly to her passion for the Splash Medics mission.

Amanda Nestra
Secretary
Amanda Nestra has been providing emergency healthcare to the public since 2003. She currently works as a paramedic at a private ambulance company in Riverside County. She has responded to several drownings that have motivated her to become a part of this organization. As a mother of two small children, she hopes to encourage the public to be proactive when it comes to drowning prevention.
